Description

Audiometrist’s perform hearing assessments to identify hearing impairment and take appropriate action based on the test results. They may make referrals for further assessments and are involved in care management and education programs. At a Diploma level, Audiometrists also prescribe and dispense hearing aids and/or other listening devices to assist in hearing rehabilitation.
