Caroline and Fiona are attending the Kimberley Regional Disability Forum, November 10th and 11th , to meet with key stakeholders. This forum is working towards equity in access for Aboriginal families living with disability in the Kimberley region. Discussions involve building regional capacity, provision of culturally appropriate service provision and initiatives to support workforce development.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker – Draft 1

Open for Consultation

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Industry Reference Committee (IRC), has undertaken a project to update the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Training Package Qualifications and Units of Competency, to align to the changing duties of existing and future job roles for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers. 

A widespread multi-channel consultation involving a broad range of stakeholders is now being conducted.

National consultation for Draft 1 is now open and will close at 5.00pm on Thursday, 24 December 2020.
